How To Create Your Own Event
The first step to putting together an event is visiting your local skate shop or a private skatepark in your area. Chances are they have something already rolling that you can get involved in.
If there is no shop or park in your area and you can’t travel to an event you found on this site—or maybe you just want to do something different than what’s already going on out there, put something together yourself! All it takes is figuring out the legal spots you want to skate decide on a time to meet and invite your friends.
If you want to tell even more people and make it official, create a flyer and post it here on Go Skateboarding Day, put it up on your blog, or post it on any other SNS you use to keep in touch with friends.
To add something positive to your event, contact a local charity or one listed on the friends page and raise some money for the cause!
